Wildplaces - June Workparty
« Posted: 28 May 2016, 18:48:11 »
Our next workparty is on Sunday 12th June.
We will be kicking off near to the Willow Lane end of the railway cutting, to improve and shore up the new path. This will involve digging, raking, hammering in stakes and planks to hold the path onto the bank!
If we have enough people/time we will also go onto the field to spread woodchip onto the path at the far end. If anyone fancies the woodchip laying job, but not the digging etc that's fine as we can do both in parallel.
Meet at 10.30 a.m. on the railway line path. I will open the gate to the village field, so if anyone is driving and is happy to drive up Willow Lane, they can park on the field. Otherwise parking at the far end of KCA is probably the nearest, and just walk to Willow Lane from there.

Kit list (any you have/can carry)-
Heavy Hammer/mallet
Saw (tenon might be best)
Water/drink (probably another warm day!)

As usual, please let me know if you're coming so I can plan it out :)
