Bridleway NE11
« Posted: 30 Sep 2015, 21:04:55 »
I was cycling in fineshade woods today and saw this notice i hope its attached basically the plan is to close the bridleway NE11 so if you were to go through the wood yard and through the trees it is the one that leads to Fineshade and the one to the right leads to Duddington it will be closed for six months due to health and safety. So if like me you like to go round the woods on your bike, horse or walk. you wont be able to.

Or just Ignore and do as you like

That is a bit of a pain.
I think in practice they will only close off one section at a time so you might still be able to get round most of the time.

I understand the bridleways are to be inspected and if necessary cleared or upgraded following an accident some weeks ago, which is a good thing.
