Before I went to Olive's funeral I went for a walk and was thinking about the fleeting nature of our existence and how Gods bounty and renewal is a gift to us all.

Is the village field open for people to wander round/use?
I drove up there last week and the gates to the new car park were closed and locked.
I had to drive back down to Willow Lane to park - but that is always very congested with cars these days.

The Village field is open to all. You can access the field though the hand gate. However whilst the Parish Council are improving the facility for all, the gates will remain locked as there have been various acts of vandalism on the site.
