Frogs, newts wanted for new wildlife pond.
« Posted: 28 Jul 2015, 18:48:18 »
Frogs, newts wanted for my new wildlife pond. I don't want fish, I just want to establish a wildlife pond. Pond has been set up for 3 months and at this time only has pond weed and water Liley in it.

Will collect.

Hi Rob

I've also set up a new wildlife pond in the last month or so, and interested in adding newts. I think the frogs will come of their own accord, and indeed spend as much time out of the pond in the grass as in it for a lot of the year.
Is your pond 'accessible' to passing wildlife?

I work on the horsewater regularly. If I find anything useful I'll let you know.

Hi Charles,

No chance I think of passing frogs or newts here as we are on the new. Estate. I think the only way is if I introduce them. I missed out on frog spawn earlier in the year as I was ill and immobile.

If you have any spare, I would be grateful.

Kind regards

Rob
