Transition Wildplaces - Nature Walk
« Posted: 16 Jun 2015, 08:58:16 »
Hi all

Wildplaces will have a short nature walk this Sunday - 21st June - looking out for plants and shrubs in flower.
We should find at least 30 !

There will also be an opportunity for a little litter picking, but the path is really pretty clean.

Meeting up at Kingsmead Estate at 10.30am, we'll have a potter along the railway embankment, across the SSSI and round to the Horsewater, with time for a drink or even lunch at the Cross Keys before maybe going to Cliffe Fest in the afternoon :D

Everyone welcome - youngsters, oldies and well behaved dogs  8) - although there are a couple of tricky stiles to get over.
Path is quite dry at the moment, so heavy footwear not required!!

Please let me know if you're coming.

Thanks all!
