Badgers in Willow Walk?
« Posted: 28 Jan 2015, 18:20:41 »
Can anyone tell me if there are badgers/setts in Willow Walk (the track at the side of Kings Cliffe Active for those who don't recognise the name!)

Deirdre, our new clerk, has been asked by NCC Pocket Parks - please can someone let me know and I will pass it on to her - I imagine there will be, they are everywhere else in the village.   Thanks

I'm not aware of any signs up there Hilary - either of digging or setts. However, the railway cutting would be a reasonable place for them I would have thought.

The area badger group might have records.

I'd be keen to know why the pocket parks people are interested...

I would imagine it is a survey or something similar - Willow Walk is officially a Pocket Park with NCC!
